Trump blames Ukraine war on 'dictator' Zelensky

After the US held bilateral talks with Russian delegates in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, breaking from US policy on the Ukraine war, US President Donald Trump chided Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a social media post, calling him a “dictator” and baselessly faulting him for causing the war. Zelensky responded by qualifying Trump’s comments as “disinformation” from Russia, and called for pragmatism during his meeting with Trump’s Ukraine envoy, Keith Kellogg, which is set for Thursday.
