Despite the fact her former fiancé was seen getting close with newly-single actress, Sydney Sweeney, in Las Vegas over the weekend, the actress, 38, is holding on to hope that he will prioritize his family above everything else.
A source told DailyMail.com exclusively that Fox just wants the My Ex’s Best Friend hitmaker to ‘step up in the dad department because she was so excited becoming parents with him and then it all fell apart.’
‘She still has hope that he will make sense of it all, because she knows that deep down he is a great father, especially to his older daughter, so she expects him to make this work even if their relationship hasn’t,’ the insider continued.
On Monday, the amicable exes appeared to get along well as they attempted to keep a low profile while stocking up on groceries at Erewhon together.
After they were recognized, the Jennifer’s Body star, 38, switched seats with MGK (born Colson Baker), 35, to be closer to her newborn.

The insider went on to add that the birth of their child has ultimately ‘brought them closer together,’ noting that both parents are ‘obsessed’ with their little girl.
On March 27, Kelly confirmed the arrival of their baby girl with a black and white video of him sweetly stroking his newborn’s fingers.
‘She’s finally here!! our little celestial seed,’ the father-of-two captioned the post.
The proud dad went on to reveal that he ‘composed the score’ of his little girl’s birth with Travis Barker, Big Slim, Truck Norris, No Love for the Middle Child and Shaan Singh.
Although he did not reveal the baby’s name, Kelly detailed that she was ‘born into 432 HZ’ and that her arrival was ‘an epic journey.’
Vibrations produced by 432 Hz music are thought to have a soothing effect on the nervous system, decrease physical discomfort and relax muscle tension.

Megan previously revealed she believes she manifested the rapper turned rocker into the person he is, adding that she manifested him when she was four years old.
‘He’s literally my exact type that I’ve been manifesting since I was four. I’m also four years older than him. So, I think I made him.’
Adding: ‘My thoughts and intentions grew him into the person that he is, who knows what he would’ve looked like or been like if it wasn’t for me.’
The couple met on the film project Midnight In The Switchgrass in March 2020.
