The Chiefs are signing Elijah Mitchell and Jaylon Moore as Kansas City looks to bounce back from their recent Super Bowl humiliation.
Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Co were chasing a three-peat in New Orleans last month. But they were beaten 40-22 by the Philadelphia Eagles.
Andy Reid’s team have moved to strengthen ahead of the 2025 season, with deals reportedly in place for former 49ers’ offensive tackle Moore and running back Mitchell.
According to ESPN, Moore has agreed a two-year, $30million deal that includes $21.24 guaranteed at signing.
Mitchell, meanwhile, has secured a deal worth up to $3.5m, Fox Sports reports. The free agent agreed to a one-year contract.
The 26-year-old was selected by the 49ers in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL draft. He missed the entire 2024 season after suffering a hamstring injury and has now been given a chance with the Chiefs.

Kansas City reached the Super Bowl with Kareem Hunt, Isiah Pacheco and Samaje Perine as their options at running back.
Moore was also drafted by San Francisco in 2021. The 27-year-old was the 155th overall pick. He played in 55 games for the 49ers and stands at 6ft 4ins and 311lbs.
Left tackle proved a problem position for the Chiefs last season. Rookie Kingsley Suamataia, Wanya Morris and veteran DJ Humphries all started there before Joe Thuney was shuffled across from guard.
Thuney was recently traded to the Chicago Bears.
