Georgia Horsley, wife of McFly singer Danny Jones, is reportedly in discussions to appear on a major reality TV show following recent personal upheaval.
Danny, who has been wedded to Georgia since 2014, was seen apparently kissing Love Island star Maura Higgins after the Brit Awards on March 1. Neither Georgia nor the pair involved have commented on the incident. However, Danny and Georgia were recently spotted in public together for the first time.
Now, it’s reported that Celebrity Big Brother is eager to secure Georgia for the show, where she may reveal her feelings and discuss the future of her marriage. The programme is scheduled to broadcast on ITV1 on April 7, indicating that they would need to finalise an agreement with the former Miss England soon.
Sources suggest that the Celebrity Big Brother team believe securing Georgia would make the show “must-watch TV,” and that her insider perspective on the drama would attract viewers, reports the Mirror.

“There’s no doubt that Danny and Maura would be watching through cracks between their fingers if Georgia gave a warts-and-all account of her reaction on the night and afterwards,” an insider disclosed to The Sun.
However, the source also highlighted that a deal has not yet been confirmed and “producers are cutting it fine” given the imminent start date. Manchester Evening News has reached out to Georgia’s representative for a response.
A spokesperson for Celebrity Big Brother previously informed the Mirror: “Any names suggested for Celebrity Big Brother are purely speculation.”
While Georgia’s participation in the show remains uncertain, several other celebrities are rumoured to be joining next month. Among them are Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd and Love Island star Chris Hughes, along with EastEnders actor James Bye, professional boxer Tommy Fury, who is also Molly-Mae Hague’s ex, and Olympic gold medallist Daley Thompson.
Show producers are reportedly hoping that Georgia will discuss the video of Danny and Maura at Universal Music’s Brits afterparty. An insider alleged that around 3am, Danny and Maura entered the venue’s foyer together, where Maura was seen giving him a few pecks before he leaned down to kiss her on the mouth.
A source claimed they “seemed to be having a great time” and described their interaction as a “brief, drunken moment.”
Another observer suggested that their night didn’t end there, as they claimed: “Danny and Maura seemed to be enjoying their night of partying. They were knocking back wine at the Nobu from 4am and seemed keen to carry on. They weren’t seen leaving before 6am.”
Georgia and Danny share a seven-year-old son, Cooper, and amidst the unfolding drama, she’s reportedly concentrating on their young child.
“She loves Danny, but she is hurt. Georgia’s priority is, and will always be, her boy Cooper. She wants to protect him from all this madness,” a source stated following the release of the video.
They also mentioned that while Georgia is “more forgiving than most,” the kiss “might be one step too far” for her to simply ignore.
